听说学校要在四,五,六年级各选一名同学去参加英语演讲比赛,四年级选了我,五年级是申紫涵,六年级是马流畅，我们三个每天都在政教处背稿子,迎接“战斗”。
可是跟比赛仅一天时间,马流畅很难把稿子读的既流利又有感情,还加上动作,老师不得不把马流畅去掉。
现在只剩我和申紫涵,好害怕呀!
终于到了比赛的一天,我们的“战地”是市二中。到了那里,我更加紧张了,可当我看到三位评委和蔼可亲的微笑时,却放松了很多。
“二号选手,麻雨露”“啊,轮到我了”我心里更慌了 ,这时,坐在我一旁的英语老师鼓励我,说:“别怕,相信自己,你最棒!”
我鼓起勇气,走上台开始演讲。因为我是二号选手,后面还有很多同学,所以我们等了很长时间才结束,出来时我的腿都发软了,可老师却说,这次比赛不是为了拿奖,而是为了锻炼我们的`勇气,当然,拿奖最好,但那些都是次要的!
谁也没有想到,我竟然晋级了,老师又给我一篇稿子,我现在正在认认真真的背稿子。我相信通过我的努力我还会再晋级的!

中午，我一回到家，就飞快地拿出了英语练习本认认真真地写了几遍，接着选了一张写的最好的下午到校后交给了英语老师，英语老师细致地指导了我，比如竖要写直，行笔手不要抖等，我牢牢记在了心里，接下来的两天我按照英语老师的指导一遍又一遍地规范地练习，我进步得很快，我在心里暗暗地想：有付出一定会有收获！只要努力这次比赛我一定能得一等奖。
转眼间到了英语书法比赛的日子，我快速向比赛地点跑去，到了地方，老师一发下试题，我就不由紧张起来，要书写的内容很多，(有十个单词，和很长一段话）可又有什么办法呢？我只能耐下性子来好好写，刚刚写了一个开头，我就开始手心出汗，又往下写了还不到一半，我已经全身大汗淋漓，我急得像热锅上的蚂蚁团团转，心想：这样紧张下去，比赛肯定无法取得一个好成绩，不行，我得调整情绪，不能太紧张了。于是我连着深呼吸了几下，尽量把字写得不那么歪歪扭扭，眼看快收卷了，我硬着头皮把考题写完交了上去。交上去后，我想：这次可算是写砸锅了，想拿一等奖是不可能了！不一会儿老师们便改完了试卷，评出了一、二等奖，开始发奖状了，老师先念了二等奖的人，但没有我的`名字，一种恐惧迅速蔓延了我的全身，我是不是因为写得太烂而没有获奖？我总不能得一等奖吧？我越想越害怕，这时老师念到了获一等奖的同学，竟然念到了我！我万万没想到我竟然是一等奖！我太开心了。
我知道我的书写还有很大的进步空间，借着这次机会，我还会更努力地把字写好！

Everybody stood up, and the people sang. The game was about to start. Two teams ran out to the floor. The referee blew his whistle, and the game started. A basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters.
There is a rest period between the halves. During the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. From then on, the game was very exciting. First one team made a basket, then the other. The people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win.

好兴奋啊！老师抽了几个牌子，我是50号所以我比较慢才轮到，前面几个同学回来告诉我：“哇，那个加拿大的外教真好，对着我们一直微微地笑。”终于轮到我了，我用眼瞥了一眼外教，发现他总是笑咪咪的看着我。我想起来之前老师给我打气的话，瞬间就觉得不再紧张了，我的演讲顺顺利利就结束了。回来后，我很兴奋，一直在说外教和评委，我好开心地和同学玩起了游戏，等所有的同学比赛完了，大家才恋恋不舍的离开了比赛场地。后来，老师还带我们去三棵树公园，那里的风景美极了，绿树成荫，许多市民在那里游玩，散步、下棋。
回校的`路上，我一直在想：这次比赛虽然结束了，但是今后更多的比赛正等待着我，我要时刻准备着，努力学习，锻炼好自己的本领，更重要的是我不会忘记常常开口说英语！

Once I saw the TV show, it was about the fathers and their kids having the match, they were separated by five groups and compete for the match. At first, they were competing happily, but as the game came to the end, the last group was so worried. The father inspired his kid to stick on and finish the match, while the kid was crying because he knew he must be the last. After the match, the father told his kid that winning was not the most important thing for the match, the first thing was to enjoy the game and finish it, the result was not that important.
I agree with the father, the child must be endowed with the consciousness that to enjoy the game is more important than to win. Every match can only have one win, but we can enjoy every match.
