　　劳动节的节日 The Holiday of Labors Day

　　I spent this holiday very quick, on the 1st May, we went to the Zoo, there were crowded there, so many travelers coming from all over the country to have some fun during the holidays.On 2nd May, I visited my relatives with my parents, we had a great lunch together, the resturant were crowded as well.

　　On 3rd May, we went to shopping in the mall, after the shopping we went to watch a new movie. All the other days leftI didn't go anywhere, no only becasue I still have some homework,but also there were almost all crowded in everywhere!

　　我度过这个假期很快，1号可能，我们去动物园，有拥挤的存在，所以许多游客来自全国各地的一些有趣的假期。5月2日，我拜访了我的亲戚与我的父母，我们一起吃了一伟大的午餐，餐厅拥挤也。

　　在第三个月，我们去购物商场，购物后，我们去看了一部新电影。所有其他的.日子剩下的什么地方都没去，只因为我还有些作业，而且是几乎到处都在拥挤！

　　With rapid spreading of western cultures, there is a growing number of Chinese people prefer western holidays to traditional ones. When Christmas or Valentine Day comes, youngsters flood into bars, restaurants, or department stores to celebrate these festivals, while they know little about Chinese traditional festivals.

　　The reason behind such kind social phenomenon is obvious: in a society dominated by mass media and consumerism, festivals and holidays from abroad are labeled as fashionable, new and unique, while traditional ones are something out of date and old. Young people all over the world have regarded western life style especially the life depicted in Hollywood films as their ultimate goal of life. As a consequence it is no wonder that Chinese young people have much more passion on Christmas than China’s Spring Festival.

　　We should think about the influence of such a social phenomenon carefully. As far as I am concerned, it is obvious that the wide spread and recognition of western holidays is definitely doing harm to our traditional value. If we don’t take some measures right now, some day in future, Chinese cultural heritage may be alien to our offspring. It is high time for the government and all people to take some action to protect our traditional culture.

On New Year's eve, all the family members have dinner together, and the dinner is very big. After dinner, people watch Spring Festival shows on TV. People keep watch until midnight, and then they go and set off firecrackers. On the morning of the Spring Festival, people finish their meal early, then visit each other and say "happy New Year!" The children pay their respects to the old people, and the old ones give the children money. The children play together, and they play beautiful fireworks.

　　On this day, people like to wear red new clothes that represent auspiciousness, people paste Spring Festival couplets, eat dumplings and so on. Everybody passes warmth and happiness, everybody is very happy!

The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice, meat and so on. You can eat different kinds of rice dumplings. They are very delicious. And Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who is said to have committed by drowning himself in a river. Overall, the Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting! the Middle-Autumn Festival The Middle-Autumn Festival is one of the traditional Chinese festivals, it is often held in September or October. During the festival, family members get united and have moon cakes together. There are various kinds of moon cakes, such as bean paste, egg-yolk or meat. The shape of a moon cake is round as it symbolizes a big moon. Moreover, in the evening of the Middle-Autumn Festival, people get together in a vacant place, eating delicious moon cakes while appreciating the beautiful moon hanging in the dark sky. To conclude, the Middle-Autumn Festival is a very nice festival for Chinese people. Last Qing Ming Festival, I return home to worship my grandfather. Qing Ming Festival is a folk Festival. In the past, In the past, the Qing Ming Festival was called "Arbor Day". But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush that has grown.
