　　到了外婆家，爸爸找来了竹子，把它锯成一节一节的，然后在里面装上大米，水和一些切好的肉。由于没有黄泥土封竹筒口，我们就用上豆代替。一切都准备就绪，我们就出发到外婆家的后山上烤竹筒饭。

　　到了山顶，我们分好工，爸爸坑也刨好了，坑的宽度与竹筒的长度差不多，现在点火，爸爸拿打火机把柴点燃，放进坑里，我们都忙着往里面放柴。火开始还好好的可不知怎么就熄灭了。爸爸说：“柴放多了，造成缺氧，氧气可以帮助燃烧。”爸爸教导我杨一根不、木棍轻轻的把柴挑起来，然后用一片树叶扇，这样扇了一会儿，火又重新燃起来了。这时妈妈把竹筒横放在坑上面，不一会儿，竹筒里的水开了，水从竹筒里冒出来，把封口的'土豆挤了出来。我问爸爸这是怎么回事，爸爸说这时热胀冷缩的原理。竹筒饭终于好了，我拿了一根竹筒。虽然烫的我直吹，但是这种好奇心又使我把它切开。于是大家便津津有味的吃了起来。

　　虽然野炊已经过去了几个月，但我依然久久不能忘怀。他不仅给我带来了欢乐，还让我学到了知识。

After the picnic we stood in the breeze with our hands on our waists, enjoying the fine landscape. Then we lay on the grass talking about our life and studies.
